ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
Bible Study Foundation was founded in 1999 by Dr. Ed Wallen. Bible Study Foundation is a non-profit organization existing for the purpose of proclaiming the gospel of the redeeming grace of God in and through our Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ.
Some of the ministries of the foundation include helping young pastors secure theologically sound books for their study; and a vibrant ministry in Ukraine. There we teach pastors, fund a medical and evangelistic ministry in the villages of Ukraine; preach in the churches and purchase houses and property for starting new churches. We try to spend at least two weeks each year in Ukraine to implement these ministries.
The foundation is presently engaged in preparing materials which can be used to proclaim the gospel both at home and abroad. These writings may include tracts, books, and other study materials which will be helpful for pastors, Sunday School teachers as well as personal study. Dr. Wallen has published a book entitled "My Life, My Soul, My All - Discipleship".
In addition, sermons by Dr. Wallen, on a variety of subjects, are available upon request on cassette tape or CD.
In all these ministries Christ, in His person and work, is the sum and substance.
FUNDING FOR THE MINISTRY
The Foundation is presently funded by the gifts from people who have an interest in this ministry. No funds are or shall ever be used from sources which would hamper this ministry from its goal of exalting the Lord Jesus Christ in all His glory as the Bible infallibly proclaims Him. All gifts are fully tax deductible.
LOOKING AHEAD
One of the great needs in Ukraine is a school for pastors and study materials for that school. We are in the process of writing and securing materials for this purpose. The Lord willing, we will see a school there.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
PRAY. We earnestly covet your prayers for this ministry. We ask that you pray that funding will be provided. Pray for the pastors in Ukraine. Pray for those of us who go to minister there.
GIVE. We ask that you give as the Lord may lead you. We do not wish to receive from you that which should be given to your church. If you have been blessed to give to this ministry, it certainly will be deeply appreciated.
GO. This ministry seeks to use all the gifts and talents God has blessed His people with. If you would like to exercise your gift and or talent in Ukraine, we would be glad to talk with you about it. Certainly workers are needed.
ENCOURAGE. You can encourage those who are involved in this ministry. If you are somehow blessed by this ministry, a note would be very encouraging.
